I was the lead UI/UX Designer for my junior workshop project “Shuffle”. In this role I was responsible for delivering wireframes and prototypes, as well as the branding. As I received notes on user feedback from our UX Research team, the designs were iterated and built upon by finding creative solutions for our user’s needs. Additionally, I refactored our original JavaScript codebase to run with EJS, allowing our code to be modular. I was also responsible for making sure that the Front End of the web application matched our user interface designs and that every component was accessible to all users.

Shuffle is a friendship finding app targeted to connect those with similar music tastes by allowing users to use their Spotify data to create their profiles, giving an accurate depiction of one’s music tastes.

I was the lead Full Stack Engineer for my senior project. Using Next.js, MongoDB and three.js, I created a mobile friendly web application that allowed users to create custom 3D planets and add them to a collaborative solar system projected in front of them in real time. Additional pages of the web app included a planet codex where users used a Logitech Joystick to scroll through the database of planets, as well as a Mission Control center where new planets appeared as they were created.

I was responsible developing this high profile website for a client at MOD. The design team provided mobile/desktop wireframes and it was my goal to make sure that the designs were accessible to users on the web. This project also exposed me to React/Next.js frameworks, where I learned to build server side websites.

Marketing website for City Hydration, an IV lounge with multiple locations in the Philadelphia area.

I built a custom Next.js e-commerce website for a client. By connecting to the Shopify API with GraphQL, I was able to query their products and allow users to purchase items from a custom product page.

Working in 2 week sprints with the design team at MOD, I helped collaborate on Figma to design a custom user experience for an in-house e-commerce site. The designs were pitched to the CEO and COO for approval, and then I began development of the site using Next.js, Shopify, and TypeScript.
